Are You Limiting Yourself? Two Questions to Ask Yourself.

“The Warrior Spirit chooses to learn and grow from every opportunity because power is hidden in growth.”

How do you know when you are holding yourself back?

When you think of your past, does it fill you with regret, blame, sadness, fear or any heavy emotion that weighs you down? If the answer is yes, that’s a sign that you’re giving your power away and holding yourself back.

Do you tend to worry about your future or constantly focus on what tomorrow may or may not bring?  If so, you are limiting yourself by depleting your power.

Heavy emotions, such as feelings of regret, worry, self-pity, hopelessness and doubt, are energy leaks.  They are inner demons of distraction that drain your energy and personal power. What is personal power?  It is your inner resources, your resiliency, determination, will, flexibility, creativity and faith.

When you allow yourself to indulge in heavy emotions and thoughts that sap your personal power, you limit your abilities to achieve your life’s visions by disempowering yourself.  To the extent that heavy emotions, limiting beliefs and old wounds control you, you’re not truly free to move forward.

We all have personal demons that keep us from living our visions.  While they can sap our energy, they can also be our teachers. You can learn from them and grow your personal power.  The Warrior Spirit chooses to learn and grow from every opportunity because power is hidden in growth.

Sometimes just becoming aware of your energy leaks can be enough to dissipate their power over you. There will be times, however, when awareness alone will not defeat your personal demons. That’s when releasing practices can help you.

What Will You Gain By Stopping Your Energy Leaks?

When you stop your energy leaks, you build your energy and personal power.  And, you absolutely need plenty of energy to successfully achieve your life’s visions and purpose.

As your energy increases, even in small degrees, you’re more likely to have creative insights, to see new possibilities, to sense solutions, to feel stronger emotionally and physically, and feel more optimistic. You shift energetically, just as water changes when exposed to certain thoughts. When that happens, you tend to draw resources and people into your life that will help you achieve what you set out to do. You put yourself in an advantageous position to change your probable future.

Do You Know Your Energy Leaks?

If a close friend were to ask you what your energy leaks are, what would you say?

To change your reality, you need to be aware of who you are. You need to know your strengths and weaknesses.   To successfully achieve your goals, you must grow your power by eliminating that which weakens you and increasing that which strengthens you.

Whether you need to let go of self-pity, regret, impatience, anger or depression (to name a few), face each one, forgive and let go. It does not empower you to live in the past rehashing the past with judgment, regret or blame.  Nor do you grow your power by worrying about the future.  At all times, you have the power to choose whether or not you give your power away to something or someone.  It’s always up to you to choose what gives you strength.

Financial matters tend to be huge energy leaks for many people. When you give your power away through energy leaks, you make it unnecessarily difficult to achieve your goals—financial or otherwise.  That is why you must be aware of your energy leaks.  When you have awareness of your personal demons, you become empowered to make different choices.

At the end of the day, you alone decide whether or not to give your power away to someone or something.  Nobody can take your power from you.  When you choose strength over weakness, you will not only benefit personally, you will have more to give to others.
