Calm is my power. Joy is my power. Peace is my power.

As these words come to mind, a wave of comfort washes over me. It is lovely, calming, and profoundly true. Yet, in the very next moment, my mind gears up for whatever is next. The racing begins again.
But what if I chose to stay here for a while? What if I waited to see what a moment embellished with calm, joy, and peace might bring?
I decide to ask God, Love, the Universe, and my own heart: What would You have me know right now?
I pause with purpose and wait. I notice the blessings. Gratitude flows for good health in this exact moment—the comfort of my chair, the silence, a gentle smile, and the ease of longer, deeper breaths. There is a deep confidence in simply resting in quietude, a beautiful simplicity within presence. Nothing needs to be different right now. Comfort abounds. Knowing without specificity abounds. Contentedness thrives.
It is from this innermost touchpoint of Love that a clear truth arises: All things are possible with God. That is real Love.
After my sister passed away, she came to me in a visitation. She told me, “All this stuff, Ran—all the drama, the noise—that’s not it. Only Love is Real.”
I know she was truly onto something.
