The Human Mission

The Human Mission

What is really the human mission? Some people call it the hero’s journey but I believe it is the inherent, original path of us all: discovering your purpose, turning your previous life upside down, going forward in spite of social or family-related opposition, defeating obstacles and finally becoming the vision that started it all.

A vision, a dream, a goal… Something to hold, something to cherish… Something that helps us believers wake up with new determination each day and soothes us as the last comforting thought at night.

It sounds so true, so inspiring and so natural to our ears and hearts, and yet so few have done the effort to step out of monotone social roles and positions towards a higher calling. The risks are numerous and usually our dear environment and coworkers will not waste breath to remind us of them: failure, poverty, lack of safety, hardships, constant challenges and so on.

Yet what we all know deep down, especially after having experienced at least once the ecstatic taste of life’s true depth, is that there is something breathtakingly beautiful behind the scenes, waiting for those brave ones who ventured far enough. Beyond comfort and habitual patterns lie magic and breathtakingly energizing experiences. And the only true satisfaction of the soul is found through personal achievements and breakthroughs. And these breakthroughs need movement and action. Now!

Delaying things is the biggest obstacle in anyone’s life path no matter the goal or situation. Listening to your intuition in the present and acting in the now is the key to all. And this is what my novel “Ocean of Love” is all about

Summary of the book “Ocean of Love”:

Lenos lives his peaceful life in the Eden-like world of a little planet called Holon. One day an urgent request for help arrives from a remote corner of the Galaxy; planet Earth. Lenos makes the decision to leave his heavenly life and embark upon a daring journey to assist planet Earth, which has become trapped in a cosmic anomaly. Throughout his varied incarnations on Earth, spread out over time and history, Lenos must come to understand and complete his galactic mission. His struggles, romances and adventures on Earth will culminate in an event that will affect the destiny of the entire Universe.

This is a re-incarnation story. I present the missions of different lives, from different perspectives of the protagonists’ unique incarnations. We travel throughout the human history all the way up to the present and even to the future.

“Join Athos in restoring the Goddess culture in ancient Crete. Cross the Persian desert in search of treasures with Zoram. Help Vittoria fight the black nobility families of Venice. Break into secret underground facilities of Japan with Hikari. And accompany Lucas as he tries to shatter the Earth matrix forever with his twin flame.”

All of these characters had to rise up and make a bold move to completely change their lives in order to realize their true missions. We can all understand their yearnings, challenges and determination because they are actually us and we are them.

The “Ocean of Love” book is about a hero, the archetype of the hero who has a mission, and that mission is more important than anything else in his life. This hero lives in all of us, sometimes forgotten, other times coming more to the surface. If we lived this hero in every moment of the day, our lives would become the most epic adventure of the Universe.
