Up movie review

Up is Pixar’s new movie about 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen, who sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America by tying thousands of balloons to his home. Right after taking off, however, he learns an eight year old boy has inadvertently come along for the trip.

This is one of those creative movies that successfully uses humor, original storytelling, adventure and stunning graphics to help you rethink what is really important in life. It asks questions about the role our dreams play in seemingly mundane, daily interactions; how we can find deep satisfaction in the ordinary; and standing up for integrity even when it is difficult. There are also a lot of funny parts, emotional scenes and dazzling animation.
