Jim Carrey on transformational entertainment

Jim Carrey introduced Eckhart Tolle at the 2009 Inaugural GATE Event (Global Alliance for Transformational Entertainment). In his introduction, he talked about the emergence of transformational media and how the majority of the news and entertainment is not representative of what people want or what the world is like. Instead, he offered a hopeful and positive outlook on the future of the world, media and entertainment and used Eckhart Tolle TV as an example of a different type of medium that provides transformational entertainment.

  1. Hi Matt. I love the concept of “transformational entertainment.” It’s a lovely description of the kind of entertainment and information that many people hunger for. Our souls need spiritual nourishment and people like Eckhart Tolle feeds our souls with the spiritual food we need. I’m happy to see Jim Carey introducing Eckhart in his delightful and witty manner. I agree with Jim that it will truly be a joy and a delight to have transformational entertainment 24/7 on or computers and on our TV sets. It will transform the world 🙂

    Blessings,
    Phyllis

Phyllis – Yeah, I agree with you…I love the concept of transformational entertainment and I really like how Jim Carrey says that he is the audience meaning that there really is an audience of people out there who really want to watch transformational entertainment!

    Dear Matt…

After watching Jim Carrey’s speech, I now think he might be ready to read my book.

“The Logic of God – A Divine Cosmic Joke”

The second half of the book is written around movies and plays and includes some of Carreys films.

Perhaps you could forward this information on to ‘his people’ and see if he is interested.

    Namaste

    Bob
