In The Nest is a documentary about Kenyan children with imprisoned mothers and the one German woman who takes them under her wing. The Nest, located in Limuru, Kenya, is a home which she created, dedicated to the care and safety of these children.

The program works closely with the Kenyan Children’s Court to prevent them from fighting for survival on the streets. The Nest provides shelter and education for kids during the imprisonment of their mothers. They rehabilitate and later reintegrate them and their released mothers with their extended families and society at large.
