An alternative Inward New Year’s resolution

This time of year everyone seems to get motivated to lose weight, make more money or get more dates.  While these are worthy external goals, I would like to offer an alternative internal New Year’s resolution such as being more grateful, having more faith that you are in the process of finding and carrying out your life purpose, or simply being more loving toward yourself.

Many people dismiss these type of goals as a waste of time or question whether they have any tangible benefit.  Well, these type of thought-patterns have an immediate impact on your physical body.  Dr. Masaru Emoto researched and documented the effects of certain thoughts and words on water crystals.  His results demonstrate that thoughts focused on beauty, gratitude and love had a positive effect on the formation of water crystals, whereas negative thoughts such as ‘hate’ or ‘ugly’ destroyed the structure of water crystals.  The mere intention behind a word or phrase had a positive effect, for better or for worse, on the water crystal.

Since the majority of our body is made of water, then it is obvious that the thoughts we have about ourself and others can change the physical make-up of our body for better or for worse.  This is demonstrated in the video below that shows Dr. Masaru Emoto’s research on the effects of certain words on the formation of water crystals.

Matt this work is not scientifically proven. Although I wish it could be until such time we should encourage proper scientific testing of claims like this so if and when it can be proven in a proper scientific way it is not already tagged with a bad reputation. You should check out the Intention Experiment…
