Dr. Michael Beckwith is scheduled to be a guest on Oprah Jan. 7th, 2009. They will discuss spirituality on Oprah’s Best Life Series which airs on ABC at 3:00pm PST. For better or for worse, Michael Beckwith and other teachers from The Secret, continue to capture the attention of the main stream news. Larry King has done at least three shows on the movie and Oprah has devoted at least four shows to the impact it has had on her audience. She continues to do follow-ups on how the film has changed people’s lives for the better.
However, not all media outlets have been receptive. Some have even been highly critical. Below is pretty neutral and fair interview on CBS News with Bill Whitaker and Michael Beckwith. I think it’s good to discuss our real potential in a way that emphasizes the power contained in our thinking and feeling. I think it holds the key to changing our common world experience. I appreciate Michael Beckwith’s ability to communicate it.
